Mohans old parents lived in a village house surrounded by one acre of land.They had Mango trees,Coconut trees,Jackfruit and other fruit bearing trees.They grew their own vegetables and lots of flowery plants to look after the Pooja needs.They had a well and the water was available in the area at 10ft for a river was flowing at walking distance from their house.The village was in Kallidaikurichi in Tamil Nadu.

Their only son with his wife and 11 year old son were living in California.

The old man always wore his panchakachcham and his wife nine yard saree and were deeply religious.Though they had lot of paddy land and did not have to work for a living the old man took to the profession of Purohidham and was well respected for his uchchadanam of mantras and thorough understanding of vedas.He would be always seen with his Dharbai kattu.

He never demanded money and any money which was given to him he would always say "YADHESHTAM" meaning more than enough.This endeared him in the whole village.

In California the 11 year old boy was always playing with computers and TV GAMES and with both parents working and chasing material gains had no quality time to spend with the boy.The boy born in USA had congenital lungs problem and despite the grandparents calling the father of the boy to come and show their grandson they could not find time to come to India.

The doctors in California said  the boys lungs are shrinking and he needs attention and proper medication.Both the parents were at that important stage in their career that they decided to send their son to India with the medicines.

The joy of the grandparents was to be seen to be believed when they received their grandson Sam.The boy for the first time in his life understood what was human love.He was in total bliss.

Every morning Thaththaa taught him shlokas and soon picked up the shlokas.His Paatti gave him carrot juice in the morning and ran around the one acre house with the local boys with whom he became friendly.Thaththa said one hour of mantrams and shlokams and then you can go the river with the boys.So everyday the boy recited the mantras and shlokas matching the decibel level to that of his Thaththaa.The lungs began to expand and in no time they came to normalcy.The swimming with the boys gave his arms and legs lot of strength and now he could climb trees with the other boys like a monkey,high dive into the river water and swim as fast as the best of the boy.The love and affection from his grandparents made him come to decision as to how he would like to grow up.His Paatti taught him whatever be the problem say "Achudhaa Ananthaa Govindaa "and all your problems will go away.

On his parents insistence Sam told his grandparents let me go and I will come back soon.He boarded the flight to New York where his parents said they would pick him up.Gone were the glasses thanks to carrot juice of Paatti and exercises and breathing fresh air Sam was a strong young 12 year lad.

As the flight was nearing New York thunderstorm and lightning made the aircraft wobble and soon the Captain lost touch with ATC and the oxygen masks dropped down .There was panic and everyone was scared and crying.Then Sam remembered his Paattiss word and in his high pitched voice said dear Copassengers do not worry I have a solution and just repeat after me we will reach New York safely.Achchudhaa,Ananthaa Govindhaa and as the drowning man catches the last straw some of them repeated after him Achchudha,Anantjaa Govindhaa and as it was repeated again and again all the copassengers including the airhostesses felt a calm come over them and the ucjchadanam got stronger and stronger.Sam wrote on a piece of paper ask captain to follow the bird and gave it to airhostess who duly passed it on to the captain.Achudhaa,Ananthaa Govindhaa kept on riverbersting inside the plane .Suddenly Captain6 saw a big bird with a white neck in front of the plane flapping its wing saying as if follow me.The captain followed the bird and as the bird slowed down he also reduced the speed and started descent following the bird.Though it was dark outside the Captain could see the bird as it was fluroscent lit.The giant bird kept its descent and the Captain could see wide white patch.

The news of lost aircraft to New York made everyone of the relatives of the passengers panicky and everyone was praying.Parents of Dam went to the Temple near Hudson river and were praying for the safety of their son.When the grandmother called her son was literally crying and said Anna pray for him.Anna said do not worry he will come running into your arms.My Guruvayoorappan will not allow any harm to reach him.

In the meanwhile the giant bird landed on the belly on the white surface hopped once twice and skipped along before coming to a halt.Achchudhaa Ananthaa Govindhaa had now reached a crescendo.The captain followed the bird to a T making two bumps before skidding along to a halt.Captain had landed on Hudson river which had become Snow due to winter.Captain turned the full lights on to see the bird but there was no bird.Automatically he said Achchudhaa Ananthaa Govindhaa.He released the emergency exits and soon all the passengers slid down the chute and reached land safely.Hearing the noise a large number of people had come runningu to see the amazing spectacle of a plane landing on Hudson river.Among them were a crying Indian Couple who were shouting Sam Sam who was running towards them.

The entire  crew of Captains,airhostesses and passengers came towards Sam and thanked them.Sam said thanks to my Paatti and "Achchudhaa,Ananthaa Govindhaa".

The Captain called Sam aside and asked him I saw a giant bird guiding me down with a white neck,any idea.

Oh ,GARUDAA The Vaahana of Guruvayoorappan.Captain did not understand but simply said Yes Yes some super power.

Seeing the son healthy and strong parents were happy and said Ask anything it will be done.And the son said

"Want to be a Purohidhar.".
