Our mind (thought process) has the capacity to become quiet in few occasions without effort. 1) when we are relaxed and enjoying the beautiful wilderness of an ocean our thoughts will end for a few second. 2)when we eat delicious foods our mind will quiet for few seconds 3)during climax of sexual orgasm our mind will stop making noise 4) During adventures sports our mind has the capacity to quiet itself. More than the above mentioned situations there are many occasions our mind stops thinking in day to day life. However the key is when we consciously aware of these situation our thought process will understand that happiness is not gained from external objects.Rather happiness or peace is there In us due to compulsive inner chattering it is not projected .when thoughts end thre is joy and happiness. We also realize that almost all our thoughts are orbiting around the false sense of individuality (which is created by the cultural and social conditioning).As a result these self centered thoughts are not needed for life to sustain. These self centered thoughts include 1)judging others 2)comparing 3)always planning of future out of fear of unknown etc... When all this patterns are consciously noticed our thought process stop the compulsive practice to repeat itself. Then we can anchor in inner stillness and can lead a joyful life.
