✨The Model of Ayodhya’s Proposed Ram Temple...
The Temple will be built not only by the tenets of 'Vastu Shastra', but also according to modern construction standards. Ayodhya to get complete makeover! With the final verdict on Ayodhya delivered, many, including the Prime Minister, have suggested it heralds a new era for India. Underpinning this is a belief that resolving the issue was hugely important for Indians. So here's how Ayodhya Ram Mandir may look like in the Hindu holy town. Plans are on to start river cruise on Saryu River in Ayodhya. It will take almost four years for Ayodhya to become a city like Tirupati. From International Airport to pilgrim centeres, here’s everything planned for Ayodhya. A team of artisans, labourers and architects have been working for the last 30 years in Ayodhya to prepare for the construction of the Ram Temple. Decades ago VHP has put out the model in the Karsevakpuram of Ayodhya. Nearly 60-70% work has been completed but now after the verdict the work will be completely monitored by the trust. The Supreme Court has clearly mentioned that the Temple will be constructed with the help of the trust. The government will decide how and when the trust will be formed. Meanwhile here is a proposed model of the Ram Temple. Ayodhya will be developed as an ‘Aadhyatmik Nagari’ [Spiritual City], and as many as 10 Shri Ram ‘dwaar’ [gates] will be built. The temple, which will have 424 carved pillars each measuring 16 feet, carved ceilings and a special throne for Ram Lalla, will also have a special area called the ‘Ram Katha Kunj’- showcasing the entire life story of Lord Ram from birth. The temple will have five entrances: Singh Dwar, Nritya Mandap, Rand Mandap, Pooja Room and the all-important ‘garbh griha’ with parikrama. A total of 212 pillars will be there across the temple. It will be assembled in two stages with 106 pillars each. Each floor would have 106 pillars, and each pillar would have 16 statues. The temple will be 270feet long, 145 feet wide and 141 feet in height from the ground to the apex point [Shikhar]. Its 4 feet periphery will have 251 columns. At least 1.75 lakh cubic feet of sandstone will be necessitated to build the temple. Ram Lalla, the idol, will be placed on the ground floor itself. The temple complex will also have a Sita Rasoi, dharamshala, a separate compound for singing bhajans, a ‘Garb Griha’ [sanctum sanctorum], a specially-designed throne for Ram, a ‘Singh Dwar’ with carvings of lions and elephants at the entry gate, and a rangmandap for cultural activities. A number of religious institutes will come up in the 77-acre campus of the temple. There will also be a gaushala [cowshed] and a school in the complex where children will be taught about the Vedas. There will also be a digital museum, a library, a cafeteria, a centre for description on Holy Scriptures, and a huge parking space. There will be a prayer hall, a Vaidik Pathshala [educational facility], a Ramkatha Kunj [lecture hall], a Sant Niwas [saints’ residence] and a Yatri Niwas [hostel for visitors] in the temple complex. Notably, while pillars are being carved in Ayodhya for years now, the sanctum sanctorum - where Ram Lalla will be placed and worshipped - needs to be prepared with minute details. The construction of the temple will reportedly be concluded before 2022. Ayodhya Teerth Vikas Parishad will be constituted. Hundreds of boulders in red sandstone with intricate carvings, along with designed wooden panels that have fine detailing and ‘Jai Shree Ram’ embossed on each brick, have already been readied. Work will be started at a very fast pace to construct an International Airport in Ayodhya, so that the first flight can take off by Ram Navami [birth celebration of Lord Ram] in April 2020. The expansion of Ayodhya railway station will also be undertaken apart from construction of an international bus terminal in the town. In addition, a flyover measuring 5-kilometre- long will come up between Faizabad and Ayodhya. Work to construct a five-star hotel and setting up 10 resorts in Ayodhya is likely to commence in December. The temple of Lord Ram, which will be built in Ayodhya, will be the biggest religious place in the country. If 2,000 craftsmen will be working for 8 hours in a day, then the temple will be ready in two-and-half years. So far 75% cent of the stones has been already carved. As many as 10,000 ‘rain basera’ [community resting place] will also be constructed. All ponds related to Lord Ram will be renovated. Opinions of the Ministry of Law and the Attorney General will be taken on how to proceed on setting up the trust that will fix the modalities for construction of a Ram temple in Ayodhya. A team of officials have been tasked with studying the top court order threadbare for its technicality and nuances so that the trust can be constituted exactly as per the verdict. There is speculation that the trust to construct and run the Ram temple in Ayodhya will be constituted on the basis of the laws that govern the trust for Jammu’s Mata Vaishno Devi Shrine Board or Gujarat’s Somnath temple. The Board was set up in 1986 to manage the upkeep of the temple, and currently also runs a university and a hospital. The Amarnath Shrine Board, set up in 2000, is also based on the Vaishno Devi board. The money that was collected, or is being received even today, does not include a single dollar, euro or any other currency. All is India’s money and was in Indian banks. A model of the proposed Ram Mandir has also been placed at the entry point of the workshop, where over 200 labourers work for nine hours every day to complete the construction. The sprawling workshop also houses a wooden model of a 'proposed Ram Temple' in a glass encasement, many devotees stream in from various parts of India…The temple structure will be the tallest in the world at 10008 ft height. Its Garba Graha [sanctum sanctorum] is more than 216 square feet area. The temple will have the capacity to feed 108000 visitors daily, parking space for more than a thousand buses, 10800 cars, and 21000 motorcycles. The shrine will also have an indoor and outdoor auditorium. Manoj🙏🏻👆🏻👆🏻👆🏻
