Salutation to Brahman (The Supreme Being / God)! Salutation to Thee (You / Lord), O Vayu (The Deity of Air); Thou art (You're) verily the visible Brahman; I shall declare verily Thee alone as the visible Brahman; I shall declare the right; I shall declare the true; May That (Brahman) protect me! May That (Brahman) protect the teacher! Protect me! Protect the teacher!
Om. Peace! Peace! Peace!
(2) Brahmananda Valli [

Thaija svinavadhitamastu Ma Vidvishavahai;
Aum Shanthi! Shanthi! Shanthi:
[Oh Lord (Brahman)! May You protect and nourish us (Teacher [ गुरुः] & Student [शिष्य]) both together. May we both work together in harmony with great courage and energy. May our study be enlightened, brilliant, vigorous and effective. May we not hate each other. May Lord (Brahman) bless us Peace for ever! Or Physically! Mentally and Spiritually!]
This great Mantra for peace prays to the Lord to protect and bless the reciters and their teachers with the bliss of Knowledge to exercise together for studying well what they study but without hatred or quarrel each other to be them in the real peace always!
This Prayer of Teacher and Student is used to recite in schools just before the commencement of the classes! In the beginning of Shiksha-Valli of the Taittiriya Upanishad, the Peace chant was designed to invoke the blessings of the Deities for the safe completion of the student life and again repeated in the beginning of the Brahmananda Valli for seeking benediction for full realization of the Bliss of Brahman.
Peace is not the state of inoperative idleness but is the state in which the entire Beings are to be happy ever! Peace is in fact generated from the love and when the love is being advanced to the universal level, the peace also progressed as universal peace! It is not at all an equilibrium position but a constructive process where the entire Beings love and get loved each other to enjoy the bliss! “Hey Lord! Let the Entire Beings in the Universe be Happy! Shanthi!
